Fleet technology startup TrueTMS has launched a transportation management system designed specifically for tanker fleets.

TrueLiquid, a cloud-based TMS, is designed to help tank truck carriers manage each step of transporting bulk liquids such as fuels, chemicals, food-grade products and more.

The software will provide tools to improve load planning, track shipments and prevent cargo cross-contamination.

“Our team recognized a significant void in the industry and set out to build a custom solution that solves the distinct challenges tanker fleets face,” George Thellman, director of business development and strategic relations at TrueTMS, said in the March 12 announcement. “While TrueLiquid is still evolving, we’re excited to begin rolling out this revolutionary platform and have big plans for its future.”

TrueLiquid includes interactive trailer diagrams that assist with accurate load planning to meet order requirements for volume, commodity and compartment requirements.

The TMS system integrates with electronic logging devices and also enables fleets to operate tanker equipment alongside flatbed, dry van, refrigerated and other assets on the same platform.

The product features a customer portal to automate order entry, tracking and other routine communications.

TrueTMS, founded in 2022, is based in Melbourne, Fla.
