Tonnage Growth Still Tepid 
Truck tonnage continued to grow at a tepid pace in June, rising 1.8% from a year earlier as factory production and retail sales stalled and inventories remained high, American Trucking Associations reported.

Diesel Average Sheds 5.9¢ in 9th Straight Decline; $2.723 Is Lowest Price in Six Years
Diesel’s national average price tumbled to its lowest point since 2009 this week, falling 5.9 cents to $2.723 per gallon, according to the July 27 report from the Department of Energy. Gas also fell 5.7 cents.
