TMC: New Chairman Calls Standardized Procedures Key to Performance

Newby oversees 18 shops with 230 technicians and two dozen managers as director of field maintenance for Old Dominion Freight Line, Thomasville, N.C., a coast-to-coast less-than-truckload operation.

On top of that, he takes over as chairman of the Technology and Maintenance Council of American Trucking Associations at this week’s TMC conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
