Rush Enterprises Appoints Clarke to Board

Commercial vehicle dealer Rush Enterprises announced it has appointed Troy Clarke to the board of directors and board member James Underwood will retire early next year.

Clarke was CEO, president and board member of Navistar International Corp. from April 2013 through July 2020. After that, Clarke was appointed executive chairman until July of this year.

“Troy’s unparalleled experience with the products and services we provide and the varied markets we serve will be a tremendous asset to the company,” said W.M. “Rusty” Rush, chairman, CEO and president of Rush Enterprises.

Underwood has been on the board since 2008. Prior to that, he served in executive and managerial roles at GMC Truck & Coach Division, Iveco and American Isuzu Motors.

“We also want to thank Jim Underwood for his many years of service on the board as he transitions into retirement. Jim’s extensive industry experience within the commercial vehicle market made him a valued contributor to the board and the company,” Rush said.

Rush Enterprises owns and operates more than 100 Rush Truck Centers in 22 states.
