Dayton Freight Lines Inc. has opened a service center in Sioux City, Iowa, expanding the network for the less-than-truckload carrier to service Iowa and Minnesota.

The Ohio LTL, which serves 13 states, generated $498.4 million in revenue in 2016, ranking No. 60 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest North American for-hire carriers.

“Over the last several years, finding a way to provide direct coverage for the entire state of Iowa has been a priority,” Tobin Cady, Dayton service center manager, said in a release to the Dayton Business Journal.
