Bekins Northwest Expands in Eastern Washington

Bekins Northwest announced it acquired the assets of Clancy's Transfer & Storage Inc. to better serve customers in Walla Walla, Washington, and surrounding areas.

Terms were not disclosed.

Bekins Northwest said its purchase of the Eastern Washington moving company fits into its strategy to relocate residential and commercial customers throughout the Pacific Northwest and comes on the heels of its recent asset purchases of Kennewick Transfer & Storage in Kennewick, Washington, and Sanders Transfer in Lakewood, Washington.

With the purchases of these three companies, Olympia, Washington-based Bekins Northwest said it has expanded to include eight Washington locations, including Federal Way, Lakewood, Olympia, Richland, Seattle, Spokane, Yakima and Walla Walla.

“We look forward to continuing the long-lasting tradition of excellence that Clancy's Transfer & Storage has established over the years,” Robert Schmidt, Bekins Northwest’s vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement.
