Accuride Corp. signed a 10-year lease extension for its building in Evansville, Indiana.

The commercial vehicle component supplier has been looking for ways to reduce headquarter costs, including the possibility of consolidating and moving out of state.

Accuride is receiving incentives not to move the 77 corporate jobs, including a $100,000 grant “aimed at improving the company’s operational efficiency and global competitiveness,” according to a company statement.

The firm received incentives from the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville, the Economic Development Corporation of Southwest Indiana and Vanderburgh County.

“We are proud to extend our tenure as corporate citizens of Evansville and Vanderburgh County,” Accuride President Rick Dauch Accuride said.

“After assessing the options available to us, remaining at our present location was clearly the best solution for Accuride and our associates, providing continuity for our company and the community,” he added.

“As a fixture in the commercial vehicle industry and one of a handful of public companies headquartered in Evansville, retaining Accuride as one of our leading corporate citizens was a top priority for us,” Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke said in a statement.
